It is a true celebration when you can finally enjoy clean, drinkable water drawn straight from your own yard.
For those who have lived without this luxury, the thought that they no longer have to go elsewhere for drinking water, and no longer have to carry full buckets day after day, is a relief that lifts some of the stress of a disadvantaged life.
We think of every family in the community of Tărian (Bihor County) that lives in hardship, and we try to be the ones who make a difference wherever they are.
And so we are rejoicing together with the 2 families in the village who now have drinking water in their own households. With the support of Hope 4 Kids International and Water for Kids, we were able to officially inaugurate these 2 pumps.
We can now rest easy, because the children will have access to water at any time and can enjoy it especially during the hot summer months. Their parents can now be sure that the water they use to wash food is good, and the laundry will be cleaner from now on.
