Education

Education is the most important pillar of our projects. We believe that change for the better happens by changing mindsets and by acquiring new knowledge and skills. We want to invest in the next generations of adults through our After School Project, an educational support program for Roma and Romanian children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds in the Girișu de Criș community.

Every day after school, the children take part in activities where they are helped with their homework and with catching up on gaps in their education. We also invest in developing personal and social skills through lessons and practical workshops that help children learn about good manners, hygiene, social and financial education, preventing human trafficking, Christian moral principles and healthy living.

We also look after the relaxation side: trips, taking part in various community events and summer camps are the children's favorite activities.

We do not forget the parents either. We hold regular meetings with them that are both informative and educational, with different sessions and special guests on topics related to life.
