Community Center

This project came into being as a response to the problems and challenges of society that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought to light. Through the proposed activities, we want to help ease the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on vulnerable communities, whose problems have deepened during this period, and to prevent the problems of poverty and the exclusion of marginalized groups, especially the Roma minority, from getting any worse.

To achieve this goal, together with our partners, Dorcas Aid România and the Girișu de Criș Town Hall, we will build a community center with 2 roles.

The first is to provide a well-equipped space and setting for children from disadvantaged backgrounds, where they can continue their education and have access to the technology they need.

The second role is to create an equipped space so that people in need can benefit from drinking water and personal hygiene services.

We will also focus on prevention, information and raising community awareness about possible infection with the COVID-19 virus.
