Because we care
ASA Association was founded out of a desire to help vulnerable people experience positive change in their lives and to contribute to the development of disadvantaged communities in Romania.
Mission
What drives us
Our interventions are based on the principles of community development and resource mobilization. We believe a community grows sustainably when initiatives are supported by the whole community. We rely on collaboration with other community actors, and together with them we aim to build a better future for those in need.
We want everything we do to be grounded in values that represent us wherever we work.
Our mission is to contribute to the development of communities in Romania and to the fight against poverty and exclusion by developing programs and projects for people in need, regardless of race, religion, gender or political beliefs.
We want to encourage those who are part of our projects to grow, to overcome their limits and their current condition, and to unleash their potential.
We offer access to continuing education, especially to those from socially disadvantaged backgrounds, but not only, with children, their families and, indirectly, the whole community as our main target group.
